I got home last night and I told myself that I would take a little nap and then go do my journal and the news. But I fell asleep, I was way too tired to even stumble across the room to hammer out a few lines about it, but oh well. Yesterday was okay I supose. I went to go visit Katie at Bakers Square which was cool, I had some good eating, then Joel and I sat around and waited for her to get off work. The whole time, Katie was acting like she wanted to be mad at Joel the whole time, and Joel was acting like an idiot and giving her a reason to be mad at him. So I think that they were both at fault, but they were getting all mad at each other for really stupid crap and then I just assume it get dropped right here and now. Life is too short to get all hung on stupid crap like that. Try to have the attitude that you really don't want to be mad at someone. And try to pretend that you don't want to have someone be mad at you, and maybe we can all survive the next few weeks. Today was cool, I went to the dinner for the top 5% of my class. It was fun, I got to invite a teacher so I invited my Gym teacher for several reasons. 1) I figured of all the teachers that I think I could have invited and had them deserve it he would have appreceiated it the most. 2) his class is awesome. 3) and he is the one that I got my 'quote I hope everyone remembers' which was very very representative of my way of life. it is, 'in life there are things we can change, things we can influence, and things we must accept. The only way we will get through life successfully is if we are able to prperly distiguish between these things.' I couldn't more whole-heartedly agree with a statement. It basically outlines that sometihngs may haev to be let go of, placed out of your hands. And this is a very difficult thing for most people to do. Even I have trouble abiding by it sometimes. The dinner was alot of fun. I think I knew just about everyone there, which is kinda a funny feeling, cause it either means that us smarties hang out together a lot, or we jsut hear a lot about one another beacuse our actions get us recognition all the time. I think it might be a little from both columns. I need sleep now, laterz. |

I finally decided it would be a good idea to clean all the random crap out of my car that had found it's way there over the drive down to U of I and back. I think that junk is like a living orginism. Junk multiplies. If an area, be it a room, or a car, remains junk free, no junk can breed there. But as soon as someone unwittingly brings in a piece of junk and leaves it in an area, it begins to consume the entire area. Pretty soon you can't see the floor of the car/room and you end up having to wade through it to find anything you want. Very few people (with the exception of my grandmother) feel the need to pick up a single piece of junk if it is just sitting somewhere. And most people see a huge mess as too much of an undertaking to clean up in there free time. But where can we draw the line? At what point does the junk become unbearable and we snap and just throw everything away? Does it have something to do with junk depth? Is there a weight issue? If your car starts getting worse gas milage is it time to throw out all those empty sprite bottles in the back seat? Who knows, everything has a limit, everything has a fine line. There will always be a straw that will break the camels back, there will always be the card that puts you over 21, in every situation in life. Today Molly joined us for lunch which I think is a good thing. I think having someone other than just Marci, Hans, and I is a good thing. Because as of late there have been nothing but weird vibes whenever the three of us are together. I don't quite get it, but that's okay, in the grand scheme of things, it would make two shits worth of difference. That's another thing I was asked to think about today. Katie asked me if I am every really passionate about sometihng I do. She made the astute obsevation that most everything I do is done with an attitude that makes me look like I accept what I am doing because I expect to wake up (sorry to borrow the line from the Matrix). Well, here you go: I really enjoy rock climbing, I get a kick out of it cause it is something that I am just naturally good at. I am built for it because I used to wrestle, so most of weight is in my upper body (arms, shoulders, chest) which really helps when you need to jump with your hands. I also enjoy shooting. This is another thing I am just knida naturally good at, I don't kill anything when I shoot, I just hit little clay targets. I enjoy trap the most (this is where you stand about 30 yards from a small house that is below the horizon, and it lauches clays at a random angle away from you and then you shoot it out of the air, lots of fun everyone should try it) I enjoy water sports. I have two wave runners in Montana. I am willing to attempt to ride/use anything that can be pulled behind a boat. I think that is a lot of fun. I love learning new weird tricks and stuff to do on my waverunner. My waverunner has more horsepower than my car does, and you better believe it has much better pick up (0-60 in just under 6 seconds - most powerboats are great for acceleration if not so much the top end) this allows me to do fun things like rolls, tail stalls, and big air of waves. Last but not least I get a kick out of computers. Something about having a device in front of me that is capable of so much, very few things can keep me this occupied, and allow me to express my creativity as well as designing and maintaining a website. Joel and I had a discussino today about owning a motorcycle. He asked how much one would cost and I said new $5000 - $9500 or so, and used $2500 and up for a nice one. After commenting that I knew way to much information (I listed on my senior survey, my goal in ten years is to become omnicient), he asked why everyone wasn't driving them. I mean look, they are cheap, they are fast, they have really awesome gas milage, the visibilty while on them is supurb, and they even look cooler (in many cases) than do cars. So what's the deal. I tell you, I would be first in line to buy a motorcycle (I could afford one if I wanted) if... ...I was the only person on the road. Alas, my freedoms as an American are abridged by the fact that there are far too many people out there who just get in their car everyday, throw it into 'D' for 'Dummy' and get to where they are going not because they are good drivers but because they are really lucky they didnt' meet someone as dense as they are on the way there. With cars it takes two people to mess up for an accident to occur, it really does. I have not been in any accidents (knock on wood) not because I have just been lucky, but because the few accidents that I was almost in, I prevented. Unfortunately, if you are on a motorcycle, anybody else in a car can screw up and you will find yourself smeared along the pavement. Just think, if someone cuts you off and slams on their brakes, someone doesn't look well enough and pulls out in front of you. Hell, if you where on the high way someone could be weaving in and out of traffic and run you right into the gaurd rail. I have the upmost confidence in myself as abl to control a bike and be safe. But I also have the upmost confidence in the human race to run into me and get me killed while I am minding my own business. Oh, and I will also be accepting applications for one private missuse that I can get a good back rub from. I am willing to pay well :). |

Well, I don't want to scare any of you with the random outburst on the min site about having changed my world view so I will tell you what caused me to think such a thing. Ahem... ...So I'm going over to Katie's house and we were going to go to Old Navy cause I wanted to pick up some shorts. So I am driving down Palatine road and there is this guy in front of me driving this ugly ass pick-up truck,a nd he is pulling a trailer. By trailer of course I mean a crappily constructed hunk of plywood that resembles a box. I could see that he was driving like an idiot so I decided it would be best if I just dropped back and gave hime some space. Well, I apparently didn't give him enough space. His truck hit a piece of uneven pavemant because they are repaving the road right in that area, and one of the doors on the trailer broke off and landed in the road. Now, my first instinct of course would be to just drive around it, but there was kinda a lot of oncoming traffic at the time, So I ended up driving over it. The onfortunate thing is that when my right front tire went over it, it must have gotten caught on one of the hinge pieces that was sticking up, because it caused that tire to come to a complete stop, and through my car for one hell of slide in which I turned about 45 degrees toward the edge of the road. I turned the whell back toward the road and gunned it, which made my tire hop over the hinge. And it kicked the piece of plywood out from under my car, I then straightened the car and managed to pull off to the side of the road, the guy behind me came to a stop because there was now w torn up piece of plywood in the middle of the street. We got out of our cars and we hauled the piece of wood to the side of the road. I asked if he saw any liscence plate numbers, he said that there as no liscence plate on the trailer, so naturally he didn't. He asked if I was okay and I told him that my car was fine and that I'd be okay. Ya know the part that gets me, a) the jackass with the trailer didn't even pay attention. 2) if I had run into something, since the other guy didn't stop, my insurance would have had to pay for it, thus making my paments go up, just because that asshole doesn't know when his truck is falling apart. We had an MWF game yesterday. This was another one of those, hey, that was actually a good game and we were able to put up a good fight and have fun even though we last. They team we were playing actually had a good server, which is a big first. I also rented my tux today, I'll get a picture of it when I pick it up so ya'll can see it if you want, I don't really feel like describing it. I sent a letter to Jason today, there have been some conflicts between him and Joel lately concerning Katie. I feel that Jason doesn't really go about fixing them very well, and that someone should tell him. Every now and then I will send a self-betterment letter to people with the sole hope of them benefitting from it, but in the past people read it and think that I am attacking them, even though at the begining of the letter I specifically say, 'Don't take this as a personal attack' oh well, I am not going to get discouraged, so brace yourself for constructive critizism every once in a while. |

Well I'm not dead so the cinco de mayo, aka, 'we are all going to die just because some of the planets are all getting into a line' day went by without a hitch. I have to be honest, I didn't update my journal yesterday because the past few days have just been the most beautiful days I have seen in a long time. I wanted to spend them outdoors and I don't have a laptop. I did manage to update my not a journal because I saw some really funny stories that I could rip on. It appears as though Katie and Joel are going to live, they seemed to have reached some form of common ground or something, and frankly, I don't care what they decided, as long as they stoip fighting. I hate to see people fight, but not nearly as much as I hate to see people after a fight when in most cases they feel like general crap. I watched Dogma again yesterday, Kevin Smith is the man, all of his movies kick ass, and if you think otherwise yuo = fagot. So tonight we went to a carnival over in palatine. It was a lot of fun. They we only went on a couple of rides, mainly the Kamikazi (or so we called it) and the one where there is abunch of cars that just spin around backwards and forewards in a big circle. I think that the carnival rides vary greatly in safty from one carnival to another. I remember back in the day when I was like in first or second grade and we would go to the carnival, and how we would always get in a line for a ride, and then when we would actually get to the ride, we decided that maybe we valued our life more than the people to have previously ridden it. Well, monday marks the begining of AP testing. I have five total; one this monnday, two this wednesday, one next monday, and one next thursday. Most all of my classes hav converted over into AP test preparation mode, with the exception of government because we still have material to cover. That test is on wednesday and should be an interesting one. I just hope to do well on them. I think the english ones and the stat one are going to be hard to study for if at all, so I'm not sure what I am gong to do with that. I am actually looking foreward to Taking the AP tests, because as we all know, after the AP tests, whether the teacher likes it or not, the class is over. I think that the teachers will take one of two stand points. 1) they will basically just do fun stuff that isn't all that productive the rest of the year, or 2) they will still give assignments that seem like they are hard and require effort, but then not grade them very hard, so if you just sorta do them than you will be fine. I reccomend to all of you out there whom enjoy playing unreal tournament go to Nali City and pick out some of the higher ranked ctf maps some of my favorites are Aztec, Conquest, Gateways, and Horus, they all got either 9's or 9.5's by the friendly old people over at Nali City, So I recommend you at least try them out. |

Okay, some people need to realize that mistakes can be made. And no, unlike Hans with his computer, I don't consider this site to be a penis extension (I am very well off, take my word for it). I had a typo in my last entry (horror of horrors, right boys and girls?) I typed wwww.nalicity.com as opposed to www.nalicity.com. For some reason Hans felt it would be neccisary to inform me of this in such a way that he would hope to ruin my pride, but frankly I don't give too shits. The only reason I actually went back and fixed it isn't cause I'm embarrassed, it's because I know how annoying it is to go to page full of dead links. It's a real pain in the ass. And since I care so much about you fine people, I don't think you need any extra 430 errors on my behalf. So otherwise I'm doing okay today. Today I had the first of 5 AP tests that I will be taking this year. It was Ap language and composition. It was in two parts. The first part was multiple choice which was relatively easy. the essays numbered three and I did progressively better on each one. I didn't get a 5 by any means I don't think , but I think a 4 is well within the question. Oh yeah, and fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the test. that made a total of four times for the day. They just told us to stay in the room and they would tell uds if there was really a fire and then we would leave. Kinda special circumstances. So now my parents are yelling at me. They have no faith in surge protectors. And my house is practically in the middle of a tornado right now. (green lightning, sleet, sheeting rain, the works) so I will have to abridge this entry, ho hum. |

Today I got two more AP tests out of the way. That is actually all I did today as far as school goes, so I don't really have a whole lot along the way of school work to do. The best part is, is that two of my classes are now for the most part over. English tests are out of the way, and there is no final in the class, so we will simply finish up Macbeth, talk about it, and then do something cool for a week. Likewise, Statistics is completely done for. The whole point of that class was AP test preparation and now that that is out of the way, there is nothing more to do. We wil most likely do some form of internet study unit, which won't really accomplish anything. The AP tests, I have come to conclude, were written by people who don't remeber that they are writing tests to be taken by AP students. Thus the instructions are a little condescending. And don't even get me started on security. I was able to bypass their security and get a copy of the AP English Literature test, take a look if you so dare. I have come to the conclusion that I really dilike picking up my dad from the train. It isn't even for the obvious reason that it happens right when I am in the middle of something (like writing the little AP test thing) and I don't want to break aways from it. The reasons are actually quite simple. 1) my mom tells me that the reason I am to pick up dad at the train is because she needs to start fixing dinner so that we don't eat too late. This I fully respect, but lately, she doesn't start fixing dinner until after I get home from picking him up. 2) Whenever my dad rides in the car with me driving he, quite unneccisarily I might add, feels the need to hold the handle, and the arm rest very tightly,a nd generally act all nervious. Now, when I am by myself, or when I am with friends, or anyone but him for that matter, I am the most relaxed careful driver I know. But as soon as he brings all that tension into the car, my driving ability goes right out the window. It really makes me mad, cause he's going to be making some point about something I did, and he's gonna make me run into something. 3) last but not least, he hates any music I play. The only music he will listen to is the cd I made that is full of 80's music. I don't normally mind listening to that music (obviously not, I did make the CD). But not every single day. It isn't as though I am trying to make him listen to NWA. I am trying to have him listen to Radiohead. What's so bad about Radiohead? I don't know either, I'm sure my dad would be happy to tell you though. I don't know about any of oyu, but I take a lot of notice to the lyrics of songs, and they mean a lot to me. When I have someone tell me that I song I feel very strongly about is garbage it really sucks. I would rather not have to hear that. |

Well, Well, Well, today was a most enjoyable evening. Everything went exactly as planned with only s few minor screwy things. Tons of people there that I knew, obviously, it's only my graduating class right? We all met at Katie's house around 5:00 for picture taking. The Limo showed up around 6:15, we piled in and got to the hotel around 6:40 or so. We found our table around 6:50. We realized that the half of the table where Joel and I were was very soaked around 6:52. We made stupid jokes and genral had a good time when one of the waiters spilled some salad dressing in my hair around 7:20. I got it all out of my hair around 7:22. We finished eating around 8:10 or so and I was passed a glass of iced tea that had been hevily laced with sweet & low. I drank it promptly. We then danced for a quite a while and I suddenly remembered how much I love dancing. As far as I can gather I suck at it. But as long as my random convulsive movements are to the beat of the song, and I don't hit anyone, and I have fun, then I am good at it :). We left the hotel in busses for downtown around 12:00. We sailed Lake Michigan until around 3:30. at which point we took several forms of transportation to get home. I had a really great time and I hope that everyone else did too. I'm very glad I went, and I have a lot of fun things to remember now. Plus, I have a bunch of pictures that I took that will be some of the only ones that I will take with me to college (other than jst my yearbook). I haven't really ever been real big on picture taking, but sometimes, why the hell not? I found out that I took second, behind Marty, for being voted most likely to be the next dot com tycoon. Which is really funny, cause that's not what either Marty nor I are going to do. But eh...? Okay, so maybe not many people know it, but I still think I have a cooler website than Marty's :P. Even more interesting fact. The person that won third place as the next dot com tycoon was Ken Solans. Ahem, if you didn't already know, Ken was expelled and promptly arrested for attempting to run a very much inappropriate porn site of the school's server. He will not be able to appear in the school newspaper, even though that would be, in my opinion anyway, quite humorous. Hmm. It appears as though the sun is starting to come out now, and I have to be up tommorow around nine or so, because we are all going to go to Great America tommorow, Yay! then I get to try to do a buch of school work on Sunday. heh, lucky me right? |
May 13, 2000 |
I am too tired to use my brain right now, I'm gonna have to get back to you tomorrow. |
May 14, 2000 |
Okay, now that I gotten at some sleep I can write again, then I will go get more sleep. Saturday was a lot of fun. Katie, Jason, Marci, Joe, Amy, Joel, Lindsay, Hans, Jinny, Gus, Molly, and I all went to Great America. Let me tell you, Raging bull is one of the coolest rides I have been on there. Very awesome. But I still think, no matter what you tell me, shock wave has the best wait in line to ride quality ratio. It has four loops, two cork screws, an awesome first drop where you can't see the track in front of you, and a bunch of other cool twists that make the fact that it has absolutely no line most of the time really surprising. Hans, Jason, and I all drove. On the way home we all got split up. We were all unfortunately following Hans who decided to make two U-turns before realizing the way to go. Jason ended up taking a completely different route home, and when we were on the onramp I got stuck behind a slow car and Hans took that opportunity to lose me on the expressway, thanks Hans. It would have been nice if someone would have told me that Palatine Road is called Willow Road when it intersects with 294, that would have been a useful peice of information. But I managed to figure out where we ended up and got home okay, but it still wasn't a whole lot of fun. The day was cool anyway, and despite the directional mishap, we had a good time. I think we should all get season passes and a season parking sticker and go there more often this summer, that would be a lot of fun. Today I spent pretty much the whole day reading my government book for the AP test tomorrow, and writing my physics paper for tomorrow. By the way I still have yet to recieve contributions to the paper from James or Andrea yet, so they are both fired :P. I hope that my government test isn't too bad tomorrow, I heard it isn't that bad, so I think I should do okay on it. I'm not sure if I will even get anything for it if I do get a 4 or a 5, So I'm just going to try to do my best and leave it at that. I may read a chapter ahead to learn a few things before the test to do a little better , but other than that, it's kinda hard to do a whole ton of studying for it. I have determined that the candles we got for prom are actually very good smelling and I have it burning most of the time now, the gel stuff that it's made of is actually lasting for a long time. I have also determined that misquito bites really really suck. I forget how much I hate misquitos every year until I am very annoyingly reminded of their exsistence every spring. I usually don't get "eaten alive" as my sister's like to call it. But rather I just get bitten once or twice in the same spot by some gargantuan killer bug that drinks half my blood. Don't you just hate it when that happenns? When you catch a misquito on you not because you felt the bite, but because you feel light-headed due to loss of blood? I know I do. I need to get some rest before my AP test tomorrow, and now seems like a good time to go to sleep, good night. |
May 15, 2000 |
Today I took the AP government test. Even though I am really not feeling well at all, and of all the seniors that didn't show up today, I probably had the best reason not to... ...but I stil came, what kind of senior am I? I guess one that wants to get out of taking social science classes next year. I didn't think that the test was all that bad, albeit the multiple choice was kinda difficult as not all of the questions had we coverered (or for those of you out there who had taken government first semester, had covered a long time ago) but it was over all not that bad. I also think that the writen questions were relatively easy, and could be answered pretty well with just a little knowledge and the use of a few examples. Not really a big deal. I just hope that my test doesn't get graded by someone from N. Dakota, S. Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, or Texas. Because on a map where they had grouped those states into a voting region, I refered to it as region 3 (the garbage states). As I'm sure you all know, the tests are graded by college proffessors, who are practically all by definition, liberal, but Hans said, with my luck I'll have my test graded by that one texas republican that slipped into the grading booths. Oh well, it was funny anyway. Hans, Joel, and I all watched WWF Raw tonight in my basement. And at one point I kinda injured Hans on accident. Joel said something funny making fun of Hans, and Hans was going over to do something to Joel and I came in to do the rock bottom on Hans, just as Hans decided to lower his head. My wrist hit his upper lip and he cut his lip on his teeth. It will prolly end up being fat tomorrow. Hans said that the worst part will be that when he is in school tomorrow he will have to explain to people that, "the next dot com tycoon gave me a fat lip. I'm glad Hans is handling it well. It really was an accident that resulted from me being a jackass and I'm sorry about that. As a little bit of humor. Here is the little funny thing that I thought up tonight that I promised I was going to make and show you all. It is by far one of the dumbest, and yet most disturbing things I have made with flash 4 to this date. I can't say I even know what the hell posessed me to come up with this idea, oh well, I'm not going to try to thinka about it to hard or I will hurt my head. Oh, and Crispy was kind enough to direct me to the Masturbation Party Planing Guide thanks Chris, I think that a big jerk-off orgy would go over well with our group of friends. That ain't gonna happen. But I do have to admit that the site is somewhat funny and is worth a minute to glance at. |
May 18, 2000 |
Seems like it's been years, damn. I have been so busy this week it is starting to hurt. Today I took my fifth and final AP test of the year, Econ. That test was the biggest joke and a waste of my time. However, I suppose basically getting free college credit isn't a bad thing, so I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. I have been doing a whole shitload of wokr on my Motorola paper this week. John I have to admit is doing most of the work but I am in not too distant second. And after tonight I might be caught up with all the changes that have to be made tonight, and also, parts have to be rewritten. I also would like to take this time that I have noticed a really stupid thing. Every single version of Word has a completely different format. I understand that they want people to have to buy the new version and they make more money. But I think that a better approach would be to just make a program that was signifigantly better than the last one, not trickery, but what can you do right? Well, you can not use your illegally obtained copy of office and go out and buy Word Perfect... ...Or you could illigelly obtain Word 2000 and deal with it, but that would be illegal right? But that is later, now I am watching Joel play Final Fantasy VII / sleeping (not a whole lot of difference actually) It's been raining like crazy all week, and today seems to be the grand finale. We have hail, tree limbs, and water falling from the sky in a general salad like fashion. Making it all but impossible to drive. And to get a pizza too, cause apparently there is no power in most of Palatine and Rolling Meadows, an d for some reason no power gives everyone this stupid idea that just because there is no power they are allowed to just, not work there. Who ever said that our society would cease if we didn't have power, I mean c'mon, it's not like it's that big of a deal, given, everything about the fact that you are reading this right now has to do with electricity. And sure I'm going to become an electrical engineer and most like do nothing but perpetuate our society's dependency on power, BUT I WANT A FRICKIN' PIZZA, DAMN IT. Okay, now that that's over with, I think I am going to take a break and run over to Wendy's with Joel and grab a bite while we are between stormy seesions right now. Tonight we have an MWF game against the Smoking Monkeys. Yay! Somking Monkeys vs. Magic Weasels I like the sound of that. There are three things that any and all napster users shouldn't be without that I have some accross this week. 1) Napster 2 beta 6 available here 2) Wrapster (for trading warez stuff, etc.) available, I think, Here and 3) Napigator, available Here Napster 6 is cool cause it has some new features like IMing, as well as the ability to cancel searches now, that and some other minor design and feature changes. Wrapster is a program not unlike winzip that just makes compressed files that look like mp3s that can be traded over napster. Unfortunately, most of the stuff that people put up there with wrapster is just porn (and really nasty shit too judging by the names of the files we saw), but there are more and more useful stuff (i.e. Dreamweaver 3, Office 2000) that are going up there all the time. And the third and coolest is Napigator. This program does two things, one it allows you to choose what Napster server you want to log on too, making it easier to find specific people. And two, it allows you to log onto Napster through many college firewalls. Very very cool. I went back to CARE today to say goodbye to all the kids, according to Katie, they had all wanted me to come back so I said, what the hell, I'll drive through complete shit weather to see them. And it was cool they were all happy I came, except Jeff aparently, I wasn't able to talk to him over instant messenger cause I was working on a physics project and he kept warning me and shit so I blocked him. He took it al personally, but oh well, he'll get over it. Well, Wendy's awaits, ta ta. |

Well, I told myself a while ago that I was going to not wear anything but sandles and shorts from now and throughout the summer, unless I would make the exception for formal situations. But the weather here has decided to take a turn for the cold and shitty. And now the weather is too cold and shitty to be tolerated by my general tolerance for cold and shitty weather. In otherwords, I have converted myself back to jeans and actual shoes. Yeah, I know, I have to wear socks too, how much does that suck. I remember last summer, from the time I got done with AP tests til' the time I started working at compUSA at the end of july, I wore nothing but sandles. Of course, that always leads to one thing, I could probably have walked over nail and not had it go through the soles of my feet, they were that battle worn. But anyway, enough about my feet. Today after I dropped off Hans, Marci, and Molly at lucnch, I drove over to the hair place to get my hair cut. I think I am probably one of the easiest people for them to deal with, because when I get a hair cut, I just tell them to pull out the #2 clippers, and just cut it all off. People were really surprised when I came back for the second half of the day and I had no hair. I really like my hair like this though. It's a lot easier to deal with, and it doesn't turn into a helmet. I will get a picture of myself tomorrow to put up here so that you can see it. Derek told me I look like a neo nazi. I was wearing jeans, a black t-shirt, and I had no hair. He said that with my glasses I looked like I was on some kind of assassination mission or something. I don't know what the hell he is talking about, but he is entitled to his opinion. We watched a presentation on fire safety given by the PFD. I think that that is a good thing. I would just assume have the people that I very well may be living with to have some idea as to what the hell they are doing. I am staying in a place with a sprinkler system, so after the presentation was over I went up and ask the man how effective/helpful sprinkler systems are for buildings. He told me that while they will not put out a fire, they will do an excellent job of keeping it contained. That, and they also make the fire produce a lot les smoke, which is what actually causes all the damage as I'm sure most of you have read or heard somewhere. I was thinking of something that would be cool for next year. As an alternative method of getting out of my room (I wil be living most likely at least on the fourth floor, it would be to bring a climbing rope, a harness, and a figure eight to school. Maybe I will go climbing this summer some, and then I will buy it anyway, and then I could just have it next year. If I ever needed to get out of the building, what better way (both faster, and just cooler) then to repel down the side of the building. I could bring a few set ups too, as I would want to make sure that everyone would be able to get out of the room if we has too. Today when I got home from school I fell asleep (as I oft do it seems) when I woke up around eight I checked my caller id to see if anyone had called, nope. So I go to instant messenger, nope. Then I called everyone I could think of, nope. Hmm, I know that people wouldn't conciously ditch me (I hope). So I just fired up UT and played it until people came on line. But all was cool, I got a hold of Marci, and Hans, Marci, Molly, Myself, and later Joel came over and watched Cruel Intentions. I don't know why so much, but I really like that movie. There is a lot of really good music in that movie, and as we speak I am downloading most of the soundtrack, because I, um... ...bought the soundtrack a long time ago but I lost it somewhere. Just as long as there are no Metallica songs on it, I should be okay :). Speaking of people that got banned from Napster for having Metallica songs on their computer, Joel's computer is now completely broke ass. He decided to go into his regestry looking for cause as to why after un-installing and reinstalling Napster, getting a new IP from mediaone, and a new screen name, he was still banned, So he deleted every entry in his registry that had to do with Napster. Now his computer has thrown up, and he is prolly going to re-format it now. If that doens't solve the Napster ban, nothing will, and that would really suck because then he wouldn't have an Mp3s. Damn, that would really suck. Oh, well, it is late, and although I'm not tired due to my little nap earlier today, I still feel like now would be a good time to just go to sleep anyway. Ta Ta, oh wait, one more thing. Here is the ending screenshot from yesterday's ogl game we played, As usual, I did the best :P. j/k, you guys are all pretty good, and if we learn to adapt to each other a little better (as we always say we will do but never really get around to it) we will be much better. Maybe tomorrow I will get to updating the news page, eh, maybe, maybe not, I'll see what I feel in the morning. |

What a wasted day. I sent out the re-revised copy of the motorola paper this afternoon because mindspring had some screwy problem with their mail server or something cause my e-mail wasn't working last night or this morning. Oh well, Carl's got it now. I basically spent most of the day playing UT with Rosie. Joel has been here playing FF VII all day, and Hans stopped by for a while. We drove around and did a bunch of nothing until I decided we should see a movie. Hans decided to go home in sleep, but he is awake now, so that apparently didn't work out for him. Looks like Joel is not the only one who screwed up his computer by toying with the regestry when they weren't sure what they were doing. But moving along. Joel and I went to go see Dinosaur. Perhaps you saw it the first time when it was called, "A Land Before Time", or maybe the second time when it went by, "The Lion King". Nothing new here but a bunch of SGI machines flexing their muscles. I think not only were the graphics made by computer dorks like myself , but the script was too. There were some really cheesy jokes, and I don't know why it isn't a G rating. Look out, those crazy dinosaurs are really scary, better slap a PG on this one. Basic plot, baby gets seperated from society. Baby grows up in different species and although he is different he is treated as one of the family. Later he is forced to go back to society, and has to confront the evil leader of the society. He overcomes the leader, gets the girl, and the movie begins where it ends, sound familar? All too I'm afraid. But as a way of saying the movie sucked without saying the movie sucked, I will simply say that the special effects were breath-taking. I don't know why they call them "special effects" anymore. They chould just be called "fake footage". I think that more accurately describes it. What do they mean by special? Do they mean different, like "little yellow school bus special?" oh well, I guess that's a renter. I have come to a conclusion. I was sitting here today, when Hans was here, and Joel was playing FF VII, and Hans was trying to sleep. And I found myself talking about the game knowledgefully. I was actually coming up with characters, and giving Joel tips (albeit obvious ones) as to what to do in battle. And suddenly it dawned on me. I need a girlfriend :). This is not cool, I mean look at me. I'm a fucking dork. I sit in front of a computer all day and I PLAYED UNREAL TOURNAMENT FOR 6 HOURS! and then I sat and watched Joel play FF VII. And then I proceed to sit in front of my computer for even longer and write about how I have nothing better to do. Somebody help me. This can't be healthy. Seriously, even as I rant here, Joel is still playing FF VII, he is trying to breed a really fast chocobo so that he can get knights of the round, and- there I go again, oh dear, someone please help. Someone just like, hit me with something blunt. maybe that will jar me away from this. Better yet, does anyone have the number for Electronics Anonymous? |

There were some stupid problems with the motorola paper that i sent Carl, arising solely due to a stupid thing on microsoft's part. I can completely understand if I was unable to read a Word 2000 document with Word 97. Maybe they made some changes, maybe some features were added that would cause word 97 not to read it, kinda dumb, but acceptable errors. But when I have trouble reading a word 97 document in 2000, that's inexcusable. there is no reason for the two t be incompatible. I have officially decided that I am against Microsoft now, until they do something good to change my mind, cause right now this is just whacked. Word 2000 simply butchers the format of word 97 documents. I am not willing to completely reformat my document. So I saved it to Rich Text format. the down side to that being, now the file was 6 megs instead of 500k. that wasn't going to land in a hotmail mailbox very well. So after a few other things didn't work, I just made a self extracting rar archive (rar is kinda like zip only about 1000x better, it does take a little longer to make a rar, but on my pc it doesn't matter) and sent that to them (it was only about 200k) Oh yeah, one other thing. It seems as though every time you try to open a document from word 97 that has certain types of files embedded in it with word 2000, it sets off virus programs which promptly threaten the user. So anyway. I think Joel finally stopped playing FF VII today. Yeah, he's cured. Also, we went to Joel's house and we got his copmuter up and running and he has been downloading shit all night to make up for his lost collection of stuff. I wish him luck in his endevours. I have had to do the same thing before but without the benefit of a cable modem. Tonight was meant to be an MWF practive night. Which was going to be cool, and for a while it was. But here is the problem, later on it turned into a Jason, Milzey, Weaponx (who is a guy I've played with before, top notch I assure you) and four bots, vs my self and six bots. No big deal I said, I can make tihs fun, until I realized that the bots were set to average. That's like a 2 on a scale of 10. The reason I could tell was because they ran at a reduced speed, they run full speed on anything other than average. In other words it was Jason, Milzey and WeaponX vs Me. Now, as fun as that is, I asked nicely to have another player. To which I got, "oh, you're doing fine"... ..."not". Honestly guys, grow up a little. If they weren't going to be mature, I wasn't going to humor it, sorry if I ruined your fun. Oh, and I figured something out. The reason Jason appears really good when he plays normal games is this. He uses the same srategy at all times. Run in with force and get out as fast as you can. Now, this is a good strategy, when you are playing against bots, or disorginized teams that you play on most servers. It most certainly doesn't work against clans my friend. It's okay, I do the same damn thing when I play disorginized teams, but that doesn't make me good. The fact that I can play D too makes me good. I can run into a base all day and get out a few times only to get killed too, but it doesn't get us anywhere. Being able to do the same to the opposing team does. I don't know, I'm rambling now. But the point being, I'd like to get a little professional courtosey/respect from my teammates (in and out of ogl games) if you want me to stay a weasel. I could find better things to do then practice UT all day. |

'You don't know how you took it. You just know what you've got. Oh Lordy, you've been stealing from the thieves and you got caught; in the headlights, of a stretch car, you're a star. Dressing like your sister, living like a tart. They don't know what you're doing Babe, it must be art You're a headache, in a suitcase You're a star Oh no, don't be shy. You don't have to go blind. Hold me, thrill me, kiss me, kill me. You don't know how you got here. You just know you want out. Believing in yourself, almost as much as you doubt You're a big smash You wear it like a rash Star Oh no, don't be shy It's a crime to cry Hold me, thrill me, kiss me, kill me. They want you to be Jesus. Now go down on one knee. But they want their money back, if you're alive at thirty-three. And you're turning tricks, with your crucifix, you're a star. Ooh child. Of course you're not shy You don't have to deny it Hold me, thrill me, kiss me, kill me' |
Hello boys and girls, I need to write this now or I'll never get it out tonight. For the same reason that I didn't write entries the last two days. I have spent many hours on the motorola presentation which will both take place tomorrow, and (for all practical purposes) mark the end of my high school career. If not only because the year is almost over, but because I would walk away from that place if I had to go through that over again. With all the stupid problems and delays that have come up, both due to myself and to others, I'm about ready to check out. The last few days have marked some of the most annoying and long nights I have had in quite some time. The nice part is that I have focused all my concern on that and the other would-be annoyances that are there are just blended into the background. It has been really nice outside in the last week, after the unusally shitty weathered weekend where it was generally rainy and cold the whole time. Go grab a beer and look at my sister's website I know I've linked to it before but she's had it down to work on it for a while and now she has it back up again. Cool art, I like the peanut-butter lovers newsletter, very nice. I'm making a cd but this time I'm doing it the right way, I'm actually listening to all the songs I am putting on it to make sure that the mp3s don't have some retarderd glitches in them that seem to like to plague some of the cds I have made. Even though I have had motorola stuff to work on, I have been getting quite a bit of Unreal Tournament time. Oh, about that, right... ...As I'm sure all of you know, I am an excessively sarcastic person most of the time. When, in my journal, I follow a sentence with ":P" that means I am being sarcastic. I guess Jason didn't get it and he was kind enough to misinterprate what I said publicly, yay! just to clear things up, I joke about being the best person on the team just cause I have the most kills cause I think it's funny that all the people that are now on the CTS used to do it. So please don't take stuff seriously when it's followed by a :P. that's what it's there for. I think we can all agree that the "best" person on our team varies not only from day to day, but from map to map. Joel, for instance, rocks on November, what can I say? I like to think I am equally pretty good on all the maps we play, with maybe the exception of facing worlds, I'm still not all that great on it. Jason is really good on that map, his strategy works well there with that particular layout. And I know what you were all thinking when you popped open this journal entry... ...Oh no, here we go with the songs again. Well, let me assure you this is an isolated song incident. I might put one up every couple weeks, but no more of the "everyday for almost a month thing" :P laterz all. |

Egads! who spilled green all over my website?!? Oh right, that was me. So what's with te green you may ask? well, I may say, I had a sudden urge to make the color scheme on my website not suck. I've gotten a couple compliments on the new "green look" so at least for now it's here to stay. And oh, I finally got my yearbook today, so you know what that means, the friends page is going to be updated. I will do that at one of two times, either this sunday, or sometime after graduation. I will have to see, but I will let you all know when it gets done. These things do take time you know. And besides, I am trying to figure out a good way to fade pictures from b&w to color and back for the new version of the friends page because all the pictures will be color now, and I think it would be really cool. I have a way of doing it, but it would look crappy, so I won't do it that way. Well another addition to my website is the C7 logo on the main page. You can get it in a little zip file at a much higher resolution. There is no aliasing like there is in the one on the sight, but that is flash 4's fault. The image is really nothing more than a couple different fonts, a few photoshop effects, and a big green explosion care of Kai's Power Tools 6. Of course, this is true for most any computer generated graphics out there right now. Yay! I called a truce with Jason and we both get what each other meant and that we both prolly didn't get it earlier due to lack of sleep on both parties. Today I gave the Motorola presentation for our phone/pda. I think it went really well and all the reps from Motorola particularly liked my flash 4 production of a simulated device. It was relatively simple and yet time consuming process of making all the screen shots and then linking them all together through the main menu with icons. I actually got pulled aside after the whole thing was over and one of the reps asked about what program I used to make it. I told him I used a program by macromedia called flash 4. And then he asked if I had used the program to make anything else, so naturally I gave him this url, so if you are reading this, hi :). If not oh well, no big deal, I get quite a bit of traffic as it is (as it stands about 60-70 hits a day on a regular day, eh, not bad, not spactacular. Since I don't exactly make money with this site, traffic is not a major concern of mine, bragging rights are something I rarely ever worry about. Today was colectively okay despite doing nothing but testing and giving presentations all day. Four tests and a motorola presentation (ouch). Oh well, this marks the practical end of my high school career, and I have the senior picnic tomorrow which has the potential to be a lot of fun. I said I couldn't wait for friday to come, and now that's here, I can honestly say, the week didn't go by fast, I don't care what you say :). 4 hours of sleep a night jsut doesn't cut it for me. This summer will be spent mostly in comatose sleep, I can see it now. Speaking of comatose sleep, I think I'm gonna go crash, enjoy all that is green :). |

I have this bad habit of cutting and pasting code around my website and then not paying attention to the whole "fit it to it's new location" thing. For those of you who were really on the edge of your seats, yesterday's entry was also marked May 24, hmm interesting. Today was the senior picnic, which was quite a bit of fun. We all signed yearbooks, and sat around for a while, and then Molly and Katie decided it would be a good idea to sign me :(. So after the picnic I went home, washed the ink off my legs, and then went to sleep. I woke up a couple of times for phone calls, once was hans calling to tell me he just got his hands on a Geforce II GTS, yay! another thing we get to hear about being great :P. Oh, and from what Joel told me about the framerate being reported high but being choppy up at 1280x1024, I would say to make sure that V-sync is enabled. It may slow your card down a smidge, but it will run a lot more stablely. The other phone call allowed me to get a good taste of my foot. I said something really stupid to katie trying to be kinda funny (a smartass even) and I have to learn not to try to make any witty coments when I am half asleep, they just don't come out right. And it came out really wrong, and now I feel like shit. Sorry Katie, I said something stupid I didn't mean to say, I don't know what else to say about that, because maybe I'm just hoping you'll forget, but who knows... We (Joel, Jason, Katie, 'Tine, and I) went to go see MI:2 tonight. It was pretty cool, but I still feel that I was tricked. That movie was a chick flick disguised as an action film. Every time I was just getting into it they'd break out the drama again. And every time there would be a fight seen (every time, I swear by it) they would drop into slow motion and have really long shots of Tom Cruise just standing in the frame. Now, in a not gay way, I can say that Cruise is a good looking individual, but I don't need to spend 3/4 of the movie looking at him. I'd rather be watching the cool car/motorcycle chases, and explosions that were in the movie as well. I feel that the movie wasn't bad, but It wasn't all that wonderful either. I think I will probably rent it at some time and see it again. I did, however, see one of the funniest parody previews I have ever seen, and that was for chicken run. They had a "Chicken Impossible" theme that was really funny, and any possible doubt that I had over seeing that movie has been alieviated because that preview alone was worth five bucks to the makers of that movie. Somewhere towards the end of the movie I did something that kinda scared me. I shifted my leg to one side and heard a very large pop sound. hmm, I looked at my knee and it looked a little funny, I kinda straightened out my leg and then shifted my knee back to the left to where it belonged. hmm interesting, and yet very painful at the same time. I wonder if this is something that may be traced back to having a large piece of electrical conduit stuck in my knee back a few years ago, eh, could be I guess. I hope not, I thought that I had pretty much been over that, but I have to admit, running has generally sucked since then. Take care all you crazy Fremdites, the last week (day for me) is just around the corner, and it won't be long before we get to throw our hats in the air as so many have done before us, good luck with all the work you have let accumulate up until this point. Oh, and try and support Eminem, his new cd is pretty cool, not as good as his first, as Joel pointed out, but stil very cool. Good night, and have a pleasent tomorrow. |

Ah! no, no, no more green Ryan, we can't take it anymore, enough already. Okay okay okay, so I'll consider making the date bars the last green change I make to the site, but I might just change my mind later, I don't really know. Today was pretty cool. I spent much of the day just being a dork and watching the indy 500. Joel went to it and I hope he had a lot of fun. Jason found a cool mod for Unreal Tournament that lets you play a Capture the Flag game with four teams instead of just two like you normally do. This makes for a big change in the strategy that you have to use and it also rewards good defense a lot less because it's perfectly normal to never have you flag stolen but still lose. There are still some bugs for this guy to work out in the gameplay and right now there is just one really basic map available for it, but other than that it really shows a lot of promise. My mom got a cool map that has a little slot for every state's quarter that have been coming out, right now (so far) there are eight quarters out, through south carolina. I don't have south caronlina yet though. We were supposed to have an MWF game tonight but no one was here, just Hans and I. And I wasn't about to play a 2 on 4 game, so I got a hold of the captain of QCAD and told them that we'd play on thursday instead. that's for the better though. I really like to have as many of our people together playing at once, It makes for some really killer play with 6 or more people. I went to see Road Trip with Katie and Christine tonight. That movie was really funny, Tom Green did a really good job, and the characters were all really funny even by themselves. But that's all I will say cause I don't want to give anything else away. I also went undefeated against Katie in smash brothers for I think six rounds :P. Keep practicing, cause I gaurentee you with practice you'll beat me, I have no real opportunity to get better at that game. I got my prom pictures back, and, um, I'm gonna have to borrow someone's for a day and make a nice little album out of them because the ones I have really really suck. The ones that aren't completely washed out have people with excessive glowing red eye. I can clean them up quite a bit with photoshop, but then I realized that they weren't really all that good of pictures anyway. Only a few are actually worth saving. But as soon as I get a bunch of pictures I will make a little photo album that you can peek at, that will be fun. I need sleep now, so I will bid you goodnight. |

So Joel, the green gradiant where the dates are instead of the gray bars looks gay is that it? Well, we all know what I think about your opinions on the style of the site (spit). Moving along; In news today, Jason's site has mysteriously vanished as suddenly as it appeared :(. It's really a shame he didn't want to keep it up. I enjoyed having as many stories of the day as I could, and now it appears as though I am one of the few (gulp) left to actually do any regular updating on my site (possible exception of crispy). I hope I don't become boring under the pressure... ...(cricket chirp)... ...(cricket chirp)... ...(cricket chirp)... ...right well then. Today was okay, I got some things done I guess. I got my hands on the booklets I need for tomorrow down at U of I, I also went over to Jason Tang's house and we did a whole bunch of tests for statistics, it was really funny, all of our tests were so completely pointless, they were along the lines of, "are the low temperatures in the north lower than those in the south" yeah I know the answer to that to, BUT NOW WE HAVE PROOF! hellz yeah! so tonight we watched raw over at Joel's house. We had a lot of fun, unfortunately Katie had to work :(. I hate work on school nights it always sucks, especially when you could be doing something so much better like watching 30 year old men getting paid to pretend to beat the living shit out of one another to a very poorly constructed plot line. ahem. I mean, uh, watch WWF. oh by the way. I made this recording at the end of the last program, I think you'll find it interesting. Maybe it's trying to tell us something, I really don't know, you be the judge. I'm not one to decide. Now I have to pretend that I actually did a bunch of work this semester for my electronics project, mainly by pretending to have filled out project sheets for the entire quarter, not usually a really big deal, and it should only take me about 10 minutes to get them all together, but it still has to be done I suppose, I find it very easy to backtrack and remember what I did each day, and now that I think about it, I didn't do much each day, but oh well. I have a new song stuck in my head today. Eminem - Stan. The chorus id really really catchy and it's annoying the hell out of me. Well, I have to go to sleep now so that I can wake up and drive 160 miles tomorrow morning down to U of I, so I will write again on Wednesday, catch ya'll then. |
May 30, 2000 |
Fun, Fun, Fun. I picked up my cap and gown this morning, dropped off a couple of things and then I was off to U of I. It took a while to get down there because right at the ramp to go from 120 to 294, there was a mack truck laying on it's side in the middle of the road, and as usual, everyone had to get a real good look. So that was a pain, once I got onto 57 i was home free and it was easy driving the whole way there. Once we got there we were pretty much swamped with things to do, most of which were really stupid and didn't tell me much, then we took a tour of the quad where we learned a bunch of useless facts about the campus buildings. I saw a few people that I knew there, Amy Parmar, and Kathy Plominski. I met a whole bunch of people that were also going into Electrical Engineering, and most of them were about as prepared to be there as I was. So we all kinda stuck together to figure out what the hell classes we were going to sign up for in the end. We shared stories about how our respective schools sucked/were awesome. The like. We went to a little show with a bunch of skits that students preformed representing situations that we "might encounter and should be prepared for" that was actually quite entertaining. Then all of us newbies went to one of the lower rooms at ISR (the place we stayed) and played cards and hung out and what have you. After they told us all to leave and to go to sleep, I was on my to my room to punch up a would-be schedule, when I walk by a dorm room with like six people in it, one has a guitar and is trying to get people to sing. So I join in, that was fun, we once again talked about our past and how crazy everyone was for going into our respective majors, and how lucky I was because I got to take so many AP tests. Then we started doing card tricks. That was interesting, I only know one card trick (I don't think those counting piles ones really count as tricks) and it is really slick and it confuses/fools people every time. One of my dad's good friends taught me how to do it. So then we decide to go out side and get some fresh air (time = 1 am) and so four of us go outside and continue talking about shit and one guy leaves. So Marc (guitarist), Nadine (some girl :P), and I walked around the quad and the rest of campus until 4:30 in the morning. That was a lot of fun, we talked about different types of music and why we thought people liked them, cool shit. Then we went back to our rooms which we all agreed were way too cold, besides, my roommate talked in his sleep, and there was an air conditionor above my bed that had water condensing on it and raining on my bed. So the three of us went downstairs to the lounge by the lobby and took over three couches and fell asleep in there. We got thrown out around a quarter to 6 though because the people there were just pushy, so I had to spend the rest of the night being dripped on and spoken to. Today was a lot of fun, and hopefully a sign of college to come. |

'Some days are dry, some days are leaky. Some days come clean, other days are sneaky. Some days take less, but most days take more. Some slip through your fingers and onto the floor. Some days you're quick, but most days you're speedy. Some days you use more force than is necessary. Some days just drop in on us, some days are better than others. Some days it all adds up, and what you got, is enough. Some days are better than others. Some days are sleepy, other days are sloppy. Some days you can't stand the sight of a puppy. Your skin is white, but you think you're a brother, some days are better than others. Some days you wake up with her complaining. Some sunny days you wish it was raining. Some days are sulky, some days have a grin. And some days are bouncers who won't let you in. Some days you hear a voice taking you to another place. Some days are better than others. Some days are ours, some days are not. Some days you're thankful for what you got. Some days you wake up in the army. And some days it's the navy. Some days are work, most days you're lazy. Some days you feel like a bit of a baby; looking for jesus and his mother. Some days are better than others. Some days you feel ahead, you're making sense of what she said. Some days are better than others. Some days you hear a voice taking you to another place. Some days are better than others.' |
U2 forgot to mention that 'Some days you won't have a lot of homework to do. Some days your teachers will shit on you' which is what appears to be happening as this year (and cluster of four years) draws to a much awatied close. And as I take this break in my actual work to write this, I am thinking why I am even bothering to do any of this work. I don't get it. I not only know what school I am going to, I know what classes I'm placed in, and when I am taking them, hell, I know all my teachers already. But you know what, that doesn't stop some people from assigning papers at the end of the school year. I suppose this is his idea of getting us prepared for real life, well, thanks, but no thanks. Sorry to say it but there are better ways to accomplish this. So right now I take a break to write this. This break was mostly brought on by Hans who was unbelieveably kind and brought me a dozen krispe kreme donoughts out of the blue. I have already eaten four and I am currently staring at the half eaten fifth doughnut and cursing myself. But they are so damn good, I can't help myself. The mentality I am using to do all this work now, is that it doesn't matter how tired I am tomorrow cause there wil plenty of time to make up sleep later, course, I got almost no sleep last night, so that could be bad. Which reminds me, I never told you about the other half of my U of I trip. this morning I had breakfast and (restrains self from picking up 6th doughnut while telling this story) went to the hall to see the morning presentations. And I got to play a trivia game on stage, yay!. I didn't win anything. I got second of three people. Myself and this other guy knew everything, he was just a little quicker on the buzzer than I was. The other player was this girl who I'm not sure ever even buzzed in. I don't really care, I felt the whole thing was dumb anyway. So I went to a couple more pointless discussions where I learned more nothing. Then I ate lunch with Amy and a couple of her friends, followed by going to get my ID card. The U of I ID card is worthless as far as a standasr form of ID goes because it has no useful numbers on it, just a barcode with your ID number for getting food and stuff. But I still want to see what the hall monitors will do if I show that to them when going off campus. Then I signed up for all my classes which went really well, I don't have any classes before 10 am, and I only have about two hours of class on friday. I suppose there is one part of that that is subject to change, but not much. I was driving back here, and about 80 miles into the trip (roughly half way) I was going to pass a truck and I moved over into the left lane and kinda went onto the shoulder a little bit and I was like, whoop, okay, gotta pay a little more attention there. My mom and I both laughed, and then sat silent. About two miles later I just pulled the car to the side of the road and said, "okay I'm going to fall asleep any second now, why don't you go ahead and drive :)". So I did get some sleep today in the car on the way home. There was a big massive 4 ro 5 car accident on 290 on the way home, and once again, everyone had to get a real good luck so that took forever and a day. Now I have crap to get back to, I bid you adeiu for tonight. |
