It was a teenage wedding, and the old folks wished them well. You could see that Pierre did truly love the madamoiselle. And now the young monsieur and madame have rung the chapel bell. "C'est la vie", say the old folks, it goes to show you never can tell. They furnished off an apartment with a two room Roebuck sale. The coolerator was crammed with TV dinners and ginger ale. But when Pierre found work, the little money comin' worked out well. "C'est la vie", say the old folks, it goes to show you never can tell. They had a hi-fi phono, boy, did they let it blast. Seven hundred little records, all rock, rhythm and jazz. But when the sun went down, the rapid tempo of the music fell. "C'est la vie", say the old folks, it goes to show you never can tell. They bought a souped-up jitney, 'twas a cherry red '53. They drove it down to Orleans to celebrate the anniversary. It was there that Pierre was married to the lovely madamoiselle. So yeah, just got back from wherever that was helping dave out with a flat tire. Apparently he was going for a short road trip out to Peoria and his tire was getting all funky so he stopped at a station to put some air in it. At which point it blew up and scraped him up. He was more shook up than anything and he looked fine when I saw him. After the arduous task of getting the lugnuts off we were not quite familiar with the "hit the thing with the tire iron and all the fury you can muster" step of getting the tire to come off which a handy local person was happy to demonstrate for us. After that everything went smoothly. Well actually I just got back from Merry Ann's where I had delicious eggs and hash browns. Fei stopped by a little while ago cause he needed some help getting an OS on this computer he had from god knows where. I helped him get win2k and drivers on it and let him take it from there. I'm usually always willing to help people out doing stuff like that. Initially he called me and was asking for help over the phone but I'm really terrible at helping people over the phone with computers as I like to point at things if I need to explain something, or if some weird trick needs to be executed just once I'd just assume do it myself. I dunno, that's just the way I am about that. I beat starfox this morning. I had gotten to the final boss yesterday but failed twice against him cause I wasn't quite sure how to hurt him. But this morning for some reason I just picked it up and beat him right away, maybe I was just tired cause it was really obvious as to what to do this morning, oh well, now I'm thinking about getting Mario Party 4 as the next thing to do. Ah well, as interesting as this is, I'm prolly going to get some sleep soon, long day... |
