Haven't got a lot to learn, and my eyes they stray again. Looking for a satellite in the rays of heaven again. There's no other ending, Sunday sun... Yesterday is ending, Sunday sun... Jealous minds walk in a line, and their faces jade the strain. Stranded in infinity rooms, and they're safe from any harm There's no other ending, Sunday sun... Yesterdays are mending, Sunday sun...
Ah simple songs, they seem to find their way into your head the easiest. Better than having American Pie stuck in your head though, that takes a while to get through.

I finally have a roommate after some initial confusion. His sister lives somewhat near here though so he was able to crash over there for a night. The housing people forgot to put up a lockbox for him so he had no way of getting in. But all is resolved now, keys have been properly distributed, and the way things are once again in accordance with the gods of whatever this would be in regards to, I have no idea who they might be.

A tidbit from work...

So I'm setting up and learning how to use this device whose purpose will eventually be to test the hearing of those that participate in the listening tests we conduct. (someone finally scratched their heads and asked the question, "hey, I wonder if these people who say everything sounds fine actually have any way of knowing if it actually does?") And the default setting for the tests and calibration modes is 10V ptp. It may not mean much to you, but it struck me as a peculiar value to use, seeing as when the headphones you are using blow apart, they might damage the hearing of the subject you are attempting to test. But maybe that's just me, I'm no expert on the subject.

I did talk to a guy who works up in Libertyville and learned quite a bit about hearing tests and related material. It's actually all very cool. As always it seems to go, there's probably more to getting a good feel of a person's hearing quality than you might think. Both in terms of reliably generating test sounds, and in interpreting whether a person thought they heard something from when they actually did.

"Excuse me sir, please stop pressing the button I haven't started the test yet."

No dice on the Flügtag, we didn't make the cut so "Tired of Life" will not even have a chance to grow weary. It's a shame, I know Kristen was really excited about getting the chance to do that. And I'm sure anyone would take joy in throwing Hans off a pier (psst, don't tell him, but we are still going to do this.) Ah well, back to the old drawing board [coffee table] to draft [sloppily doodle] a new masterpiece [shitbox with wings]
