Polly wants a cracker, I think I should get off her first. Think she wants some water... to put out the blow torch. It isn't me. Have some seed. Let me clip your dirty wings. Let me take a ride, cut yourself. I want some help to please myself. I got some rope you've been told. Promise you have been true. Let me take a ride, cut yourself. I want some help to please myelf. Polly wants a cracker, maybe she would like some food. She asks me to untie her. A chase would be nice for a few. Polly said... Polly says her back hurts. She's just as bored as me. She caught me off my guard. Amazes me, the will of instinct.
School is done and yet, big surprise here, I've miles to go before I sleep.

I finished off my last semester with 4 A's and a B (CS257 can seriously kiss my ass) so I'd consider it an overwhelming success despite the insanity that was the last two months of it. Writing and debugging a surround sound processor in 36 hours... creating a 3D OpenGL tank warfare game in 72 hours... creating a source-image acoustic room simulator in 12 hours... not to mention the child car seat safety project... constant irritations from a worthless numerical methods class, through in the reports and presentations to go along with each of these, and you can start to see why by the time I got to finals week I'd just about run out of gas.

But as I mentioned... That's all done with now.

I got back from four days in Tampa yesterday visiting my Grandma and trying to relax a bit in the middle of the commotion. It was a good time and it was fun visiting, but I'm reminded once again of the many reasons I chose California over Florida.

I'm Wisdom-Teeth-Free (tm) since last Monday. The process was easy and I recovered pretty quickly. I'm told (I was very in and out during the operation) that the top two came out without much fight but the bottom ones required some cutting and digging. That certainly explained the swelling, but in the end I ended up not needing the Vicodin ES pain killers I was prescribed, I got the stitches taken out this afternoon so I consider the matter closed :D

I'm up to 165 skydives, it's only been two weeks but I'm missing all the awesome people at Archway already =/ I'm not sure when I'm going to get back in the air again, but I've got a lot to keep me busy in the mean time.

Just about all my stuff is in boxes, but I've got a ways to go before tomorrow morning when the movers are coming to take it away ha! ha! they're coming to take it away. Along with my car. We'll all meet again someday... maybe not this week... maybe not the next... but soon, and in California.

I leave June 1st and will spend most of next week driving around Redondo/Hermosa Beach looking at apartments to find one that suits me. I'll have a list of places waiting for me at the hotel, and I'm pretty hopeful of finding a nice one. Decent access to the beach and covered parking is all I'm really gonna be picky about. I've got 3 weeks or so to settle on something but I doubt it'll take that long.

Well, it's time for me to break down the 'ol computer and box 'er up for the move... I'll see you on the other side (no - really this time)
