| that 3d interface got me thinking... I wonder how many of the ideas for the interface came from the same people that sweated through all the implementation details. Because I have a lot of cool ideas for 3d interfaces, but in most cases they extend beyond my patience. | i customized nearly identical high-end Dell and Alienware machines. both of them with p4 3.2, 17" panel monitor, ati radeon 256. when i couldn't match i put the more expensive item on the dell, e.g., dell had 2gb ram instead of alienware's 1gb, and dell had 240gb drive instead of alienware's 160gb.
