http://www.cnn.com/2003/LAW/01/11/i....row/index.html it takes a lot of balls to do something like this two days before the end of your term. these people are all convicted of murder, and should be executed, one of them murdered a pregnant women, cut open her stomach and took the baby out, but then we have to consider that 2/3's of the people on death row are black, not that 3/3's of them did it, thats not the important part here. This is the most outrageous thing ive ever heard, thank god this asshole's political career is over for other reasons. 01/11/2003-1:12pm

who cares you guys its all a bunch of tree hugging hippie crap anyways 01/09/2003-5:19pm
yeah, this isn't a money-making lawsuit, this isn't about someone pissed off at life, they are trying to go to a football game, and then maybe when they are there, be able to take a piss. What if you got hit by a drunk or something, and had your legs taken off. Would you want that to be the deciding factor of whether you get to go to a superbowl sometime in your life? Seriously, I know everyone is weathered against accepting that occasionally a valid lawsuit comes around with a small guy against a big guy, but get off it, and while you're at it go fuck yourself. 01/09/2003-4:23pm
they don't really compare, either. the super bowl is a spectator event. there's nothing illogical about a handicapped person wanting to support his favorite team or just enjoy a football game. would you deny them even being able to spectate? besides, the key thing here is that the stadium agreed to do this and are trying to sidestep their agreement, which is just damned shady. 01/09/2003-10:52am
i think we need more handicapped parking at the swimming pool 01/09/2003-9:13am
the phrase "hit them in the pocketbook" doesn't doesn't nullify their argument. get over it 01/08/2003-4:50pm
you forgot to mention the most important thing. She isn't looking for a settlement or some large sum of punative damages. She just wants to shut down the event, nobody gets any money. This would "hit them in pocketbook" and she wouldn't really get anything out of it, aside from the publicity. My initial complaint, you'll notice, was just the use of that god awful phrase that makes you sound like an evil conspiritor. 01/08/2003-12:33pm
so your argument is that because they're trying to use an effective strategy to enforce an agreement by the stadium, it's bullshit? it's just a quick buck scheme? there's nothing valid about it whatsoever? i'm sorry but just because she gets paid to be a lawyer or because her suit wins doesn't make all of her causes bullshit. they made the agreement and they are being forced to stick with it. this doesn't compare at all to the fast food thing. 01/08/2003-7:08am
Yeah, the lawsuit does make perfect sense. Just like the fat man getting too much and suing the fast food chains. "Hit them in their pocket books." Yeah, we're doing this for the handicap people now. BULL FUCKING SHIT! When you say shit like that, it throws all meaning away. If this was a noble thing they were doing, they wouldn't hit them in their pocket book. Is she giving the money to charity or to help handicap people? If she is is she still taking her cut? So, bullshit. 01/07/2003-6:15pm
yeah that was another fun thing about the fiesta bowl, the ohio cheerleaders beat the miami cheerleaders 6-0 during the half-time show 01/07/2003-9:18am
