| i think the reason it's important to look at the maps is that they are a more accurate representation of the information. when you have a new president coming into office presenting his election as descisive, claiming a strong mandate over the direction this country will go. in reality the country is more divided than ever and those maps are a representation of that. it's not a refutation of the electrion results, it's a refutation of the idea of a strong mandate. 11/09/2004-11:42am | ||
