Can I get your hand to write on, just a piece of lead to bite on? What am I to fly my kite on? Do you want to flash your light on? Take a look, it's on display for you. Coming down, no not today. Did you meet your fortune teller? Get it off with no propellor. Do it up it's always stellar. What a way to finally smell her. Pick it up, it's not to strong for you. Take a piece and pass it on. Fly away on my Zephyr, I feel it more then ever. And in this perfect weather, we'll find a place together. Fly on my wing. Riddlin' on liberator. Find a way to be a skater. Rev it up to levitator. Super friendly aviator. Take a look, it's on display for you. Coming down, no not today. Fly away on my Zephyr, I feel it more then ever. And in this perfect weather, we'll find a place together. In the water where the scent of my emotion, all the world can pass me by. Fly away on my Zephyr, we'll find a place together. We're gonna live forever.
A lot has happened in the last couple weeks, and unfortunately that means I've been occupied away from my journal, but I did want to get one more entry in here before I left. Listening to this song again made me really want to post it, and thus provided the motivation... which was kinda the reason I started with the whole song lyrics thing to begin with.

Anyhow, work is pretty much coming to a conclusion, I have given a couple presentations, been though closing interviews with HR and my manager, finished up the loose ends of the tests and calibrations I've conducted, and had a closing lunch with my group. All there is left to do now is finish up some documentation and filing of paperwork so that I can leave. My presentation went well. Scott the staffing guy seemed to like it, and I know my manager did as well. Talking with my manager, nothing is in stone, but I'll say I'm very hopeful of working down here when I graduate :D

My running program has been enduring the test of time, that's a good thing. Although I'm not sure about the energy levels it's giving me, yesterday I got home from work, ran, and then fell asleep right at 6pm and work up at 7:30am the next morning for work... that was, to say the least, a disappointing break despite it's refreshing properties, ah well *shrugs*

We've had a lot of fun the past couple weekends... Beaches, The Riverfront (no idea how we didn't find this place earlier, reminds me of a wider version of bourbon street) Club Radius in Boca Raton, A strip joint here in Plantation, The Level down in Southbeach, almost too much to handle really. It's all gone by pretty fast looking at it. I'm certainly going to miss having access to these kind of night clubs when I head back to school, but I will definitely not miss paying cover and crazy prices for drinks, go dollar bottles!

A more interesting outing at Southbeach this last weekend, ended up with a trip to the hospital for Brian when he twisted his ankle pretty bad warrenting the trip. But despite having to get up at a decent hour the next morning, being at a hospital at 5 in the am is ceratinly an interesting story. In his presentation today he even used his crutches to indicate diagrams on his powerpoint slides, very nice.

So I'm not really looking forward to this whole "driving for two days thing." I've already forgotten what the feeling is like approaching the halfway point of day two, but I remember it being the worst point in the drive. I guess I'll have that to look forward to on Sunday. This time Leandra and Eric with both be there in Athens so I'll get to chew the fat with them on this round through... I'm sure I'll be a bit eccentric so I apologize in advance :P
