I painted a picture, of a day gone past; an ancient scripture, a house of glass. People looking through the window, never knowing what they'd find. When they couldn't see me, I locked the door, and left them behind. The sky will tell me... I'm not the only one. And the sky will tell me... I must believe the sun. I shut my eyes, to not go blind. Things I can't see, I see in my mind. Oh now the passing clouds of rain have surely passed us by. Poor is the man that believes his own lie. And the sky will tell me... I'm not the only one. And the sky will tell me... I must believe the sun. And the sky will tell me... Long may you run. And the sky will tell me... I must believe the sun. If I was wrong, judge me by name. I simplify, one and the same.
Alright, I'm a little over a month into my last semester but it feels like I've got another year to go. Someone snuck in when I wasn't looking and put glue on the soles of my shoes which seems to be preventing me from getting anywhere.

CS318 is turning out to be a bit of alright. I finished my first MP this weekend, you can have a look if you'd like but it kinda sucks, I'm bad at shading. CS257 is a complete shit-festival. I have no idea where the class is trying to go with what it's teaching. The lectures are "powerpoint campfires", as I like to call them, and the quizzes/tests are designed to have you regurgitate minute details of the code that gets brought up in class. Absolutely no ingenuity involved. ECE303 & 320 are interesting classes for the most part, but the assignments/labs have the potential to be nightmares on occasion. The professors/TAs for those classes are cool though so it's not too bad.

I've pretty much got the paperwork for Northrop Grumman nailed down. The only things I really have to do now is take the GRE (which I have scheduled) and then submit my application. Oh right, and take the drug screening which I'll prolly try and do Friday afternoon. So that feels good to have pretty much all set.

Skydiving has still been slow. I've made something like two jumps in the past month. I do have my Protrack now, which is nice, but for the time being it serves as little more than a reminder of how short jumps from 4000' last. My Cypres is still in Germany but I've made a couple jumps without it. I feel comfortable remaining altitude aware, and without anyone else in freefall with me I'm not worried about getting knocked out. I uh... ordered a new pilot chute/bridle assembly because mine was starting to show wear... not that 95% of you have any idea what I'm talking about...

T-shirts. I've designed two t-shirts and have asked everyone which they want. I'm going to have both available so that everyone's happy. Everyone seems to like at least one or the other. Thanks to Hans for the idea for the stenciled look on the word "skydiving". I'm going to place an order shortly, and I hope they come out looking nice.

Let's see, school, work, and skydiving... I think that pretty much covers it. I'd like to have a certain other category but I honestly doubt I'd have time for that.
